AFTER YOU'VE WRITTEN YOUR WILL
Why do I need to keep my originally signed Will, instead of a digital copy?
Why do I need to keep my originally signed Will, instead of a digital copy?
Updated over a week ago

Upon your passing on, in order for your executor to report your estate to the Master of the High Court, he/she will need to present your originally signed will. Should your executor fail to present your originally signed will to the Master, he/she will have to bring an application to the High Court in order for the court to direct that a copy of your will is allowed to be accepted as your will. This can be a complex and time consuming matter to deal with.
